Every election we engage students across the province to turn out and vote. We use research-based strategies proven to help motivate young voters.
On September 5 we released our report "The Youth Vote: Why Young Voters Can't Be Ignored." It shows young Canadians are now the largest single voting demographic -- the first time in over 40 years!
We're also turning out in stronger numbers. In 2015, 57.1% of 18-24 year-olds turned out to vote -- a record-breaking 18 percentage point increase from the 2011 election.
Our Time Is Now will build on this momentum and help young voters appreciate their agency and the urgency of getting involved in the 2019 federal election.
